I want to know are they any experienced online tutors? If so I would like to know how did you get started, and where did you go to look for your clients?

I have been offering online-math tutoring since 2002. - Maybe you would call it experience? - But my case is somewhat special in that I am offering free online-math tutoring ("free as in free beer").
My offering online-tutoring for free may have helped me find pupils, but in some cases it may also have made other pupils shy away. After all: Who has ever heard of "free online tutoring"? - There must be something fishy about it! - Or so they may have thought...
About half of my pupils actually want to pay. - But I always refuse! If I wanted to earn money, real money (which means: lots of it, and in the shortest time possible), I would not try to get it by way of online-tutoring. - I suppose it would in principle be possible to slowly move from "free" to "paid", from mere philanthropic hobby to serious business. During the "free" phase, you could gain experience and build up your presence on the web. - But I have not tried to do that (I mean: this move from hobby to business).
How did I get started? - I did put up my own website, and placed advertisements on various websites that allowed me to do it for free (with link to my homepage, where pupils could find more information). I suppose it was this link to my homepage, and the supplemental information pupils could find there, that made the difference (to other tutors advertising on those same websites). But you don't need your own website: you could just as well use some free blogging site, and link your advertisements to that blog. Right now I do not have any advertisements placed, since pupils google my homepage sufficiently often to keep me busy.
Since the whiteboard is very important for online math-tutoring, I tried various alternatives. Since none seemed to work the way I required, and since I happen to be a programmer, I wrote my own whiteboard(s). Today, I use a tablet-pc, and have a whiteboard of my own making that knows about Microsoft's Ink-API for pen tablets. Thus, on a tablet-pc handwriting feels very natural and looks great on the screen as well as when printed out. Unfortunately, this means that my whiteboard is limited to Microsoft Windows. (However, if a pupil is just happy observing the whiteboard, without actually writing on it, then any decent operating system with an up-to-date browser will do...)
Regards and my best wishes for your own work as an online-tutor,
Christian

P.S: Note, that since I am not a native speaker of English (which you probably have guessed already!), information that is very likely of some importance to my pupils is not available on the English-language version of my website. (I do not have any English-speaking pupils, right now.)

There are certain costs associated with starting an online tutoring business. Your biggest expense will be your credit card processor. I recommend paypal.com, but there are other options out there. You'll also need a website and an online tutoring classroom. My free report will give you all the details.
