I don't understand your point above. Are you saying that you are going to offer contracts? If so, what do you mean by "My aim is not for parents to walk away, but for them to have an option"? What option are you referring to?

Right I think your points are on target. As far as walking away. i feel I will offer a ver good service. At least that is my aim. I feel it is a good to offer a contract. My aim is not for parents to walk away, but for them to have an option. I ta...

Testing is always the best option. It's just my opinion that you might want to focus on maintaining your clients as opposed to having high turn over and allowing your clients to walk away from your online tutoring program. Of course they can if t...

That is not true based on my experience. Plus, you'll lose some parents right off the bat, because they won't want to sign it. If you provide an excellent service and actually the parent(s) to consult about their child's learning needs, you won't ...

I can only forward a few at a time. Are you looking specifically for Indian tutors? Do you currently have a business up and running? If not, I recommend focusing on the basics first. It's very easy to find tutors and I can send you some once I kn...

Focus on the 1 hour session and then only offer monthly packages after the your first etutoring session. This is a proven way to acquire and hold clients for month even years. Of course, you have to take the time to care and consult with the paren...

Also I think that my way might seperate the ones that actually want the service in the long run, from those that may just want the two sessions, or what to sign up and cancel in a week. I don't know. I think it will work? ANy other imput?

well I have a contract in the contract the parent can cancel 7 days in advance. I think that is reasonable. What do the education centers do? They have contracts I believe. I think having a contract might make doubtful parents feel that the servic...

I have been tinkerling with Vyew for a while. About a week. it seems to me that Vyew is better for someone who wants to tutor one and one with students, not really on a commerical level. i find the site hard to navigate and with gliches. For examp...

Thanks for the input. I decided to offer 40% for two sessions. Then give the client the option to sign up for the service. I think this will be successful. What do you think Scott?

I am not that familiar with the details of Vyew.com. You are asking good questions and some I can answer. I know you'll have to email your students when you want to schedule a session. They don't have a scheduling system built into their site.

As far as the features of the whiteboard, it's hard to keep up. It seems all whiteboards are being updated these days (including mine at TutorFi.com).

One work around is to use google docs where you can store student info and use it at the same time as an online tutoring session.

If you have more questions, please post them on the forum.
